Brief Biography

Ranjana Kesarwani joined Young Lives India in 2016 as a Quantitative Research Associate. She has an MPhil and PhD in Population Studies from the International Institute for Population Sciences, Mumbai, and an MSc in Statistics from Banaras Hindu University. Prior to joining Young Lives she worked as a Research Fellow at the Public Health Foundation of India,and as a data analyst for the Annual Health Survey. She is skilled in statistical analysis, advanced multivariate and multilevel analysis, sample surveys, sampling, research design, data management and monitoring and evaluation of programmes and policies.

Her interest areas are maternal and child health, social determinants of health, mortality analysis and small area estimation.
